I’m tired of being stepped on for being a Christian.
I think I’ve almost reached my breaking point.
Alright, I understand that not everyone is going to be a Christian. They don’t want anything to do with it, and that’s fine with me. Whatever. It’s your business. Have a nice fucking life. But why is it that anyone else can talk a lot of shit about how “ignorant” it is to believe in God or how the “bible is a crock of shit”, but if a Christian tries to state their views or stand up for what they believe is right (oh, forbid!), it’s considered shoving our beliefs down people’s throats? That’s really hypocritical, and I’m just about tired of double fucking standards. Why does it matter what anyone’s faith is, as long as they’re happy and they’re not hurting anyone? Why do people have to keep trying to prove that God isn’t real? Trying to prove it, either way, basically makes you look like a fucking fool. Because you CAN’T. Get that through your thick skull. Learn something before you open your mouth and stick your foot in it. Science cannot prove or disprove anything metaphysical. Not God, not aliens, not ghost. Why? It’s in the laws of science. They use the Scientific Method, and a couple of the steps are to Observe and to Test. You can’t observe or test anything that you can’t physically touch and see. So to try to prove either way whether God is real or not is pretty much a failed attempt. Just leave it alone. You don’t see me hunting other religions down and trying to prove them wrong. They’re happy believing how they believe, and I’m happy how I believe. Can’t that be it? Why do people have to take something so simple and complicate the fuck out of it?
